• New as of December 2008: A professional orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry
  practice here in the hotel, offering expert dental hygiene, teeth whitening and dental
  implants which require no recovery period, as well as the reduction and smoothing of
  facial lines and wrinkles. We would be happy to send you further details.
• NEW on the Alpen Residence website: 360° virtual panoramic picture tours of the hotel and its surroundings.
• Summer in the mountains of the Tyrol, when the alpine meadows are carpeted with
  wild flowers and the mountain lakes sparkle in the sunlight, is the ideal time for
  walkers, mountain bikers and families. With our Fitness and Leisure Manager,
  Rick, we offer our guests the following complimentary leisure activities:
  • 3 guided walks per week (for varying levels of fitness)
  • A gentle cycle tour
  • Nordic walking tours
  • Aqua-aerobics
  • Aqua-jogging
  • Activities programme for children with the local climbing school
• Tiroler Zugspitz Golf, our 9-hole golf course, is surrounded by magnificent mountain
  scenery and offers an unforgettable experience for beginners and more experienced
  players alike. Attractive golf packages are available for all levels of ability and, as a
  founder member of the golf course, the Alpen Residence is pleased to offer its guests
  a 20% reduction on green fees as well as the complimentary use of its 2 electric golf

• We do not feature our hotel in any UK tour operator's brochure but it is very easy to
  make your own holiday arrangements with us and with the airline of your choice.
  Easyjet (www.easyjet.com) will continue to operate direct flights between London
  Gatwick and Innsbruck on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Easyjet also flies daily to
  Munich from Gatwick, Stansted and Edinburgh and of course British Airways
  (www.ba.com) and Lufthansa (www.lufthansa.com) continue to fly daily to Munich from
  London Heathrow as well as selected UK provincial airports. Aer Lingus
  (www.aerlingus.com) has introduced a new service this summer between Gatwick and
  Munich and will of course continue to fly between Dublin and Munich, as before.
  Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) has announced its new services from Stansted and
  Dublin to Memmingen, a small town in Bavaria, just 80 kms (50 miles) from Ehrwald.
  You can book these flights to/from Innsbruck, Memmingen or Munich on-line and for
  the onward journey to Ehrwald we can offer you our own car/minibus service at
  special half price rates for up to 8 persons per vehicle.
